We have hit October now and even though temperatures are still above 10°C, they have started to drop. We have seen some cracking weekends this year with sun sun sun and BBQ Saturdays, but now it’s time to prepare for a colder boot sale. When attending a car boot sale in the colder months there are a few things to remember to make sure you are kept warm.
It’s all about layering; wear 3 jumpers, 2 pairs of socks and 4 pairs of underwear if it keeps you warm. Adding that extra jumper can keep your body heat in and be the perfect essential when searching aisle after aisle for your big boot bargains.
Another handy little tip to remember is a flask. Come prepared with tea, coffee, hot water, cup a soups, whatever will give you that warm feeling inside is perfect for a day spent in the colder weather.
Keep them ears warm. They say if you your ears are warm the rest of your body is warm, so don’t forget to bring a hat or ear muffs. You may have to get the booters to shout the prices so you can hear, but at least you will be warm.
We are set for another clear 2 days this weekend with temperatures set to be in the low to middle teens. We have our Big Boot sale in Morecambe on Saturday and our A6 boot sale in Carnforth on Sunday. With our boot sales being one of the most popular in the county you are bound to have success, by either getting rid of old junk or picking up a couple of bargains.
So bring all the family down this weekend and don’t forget to prepare with that extra layer and a cup of hot choccy!
